The Grill Rack - 310 Stainless Steel with Reinforced Frame

NO CHROME PLATED STEEL - ONLY STAINLESS STEEL

The Embers & Iron Grill Rack is made from solid 310 stainless steel—no chrome plating, no coatings. Unlike common 304 SS racks with chrome layers that can chip, rust, and contaminate food over open fire, our rack stays clean, strong, and safe up to 1200°C. Throw out the rusty rack - you deserve better!

Standard grill racks often sag, warp, and buckle under the intense heat of an open fire. Our repurposed rack isn't just a surface—it’s a feat of structural engineering. By utilizing the Warren Truss pattern—the same geometry used in high-strength bridges—we’ve created a cooking platform that is more stable as it is durable.

310SS vs 304SS

310 Stainless Steel

  • Max operating temperature up to 1200°C (2190°F) in continuous service

  • Excellent oxidation resistance at sustained high heat; forms a protective oxide layer

  • Low distortion under cyclic heating and cooling

  • Retains strength at elevated temperatures

304 Stainless Steel

  • Up to 870°C (1600°F) in intermittent service

  • Good corrosion resistance but prone to scaling above 900°C

  • More prone to warping and stress cracking over repeated high-heat cycles

  • Strength drops rapidly beyond 800°C

It’s time to break the cycle of cheap replacement!
